How to Get Involved
Perhaps involve the company where you work: Our first corporate contributor Mother Parker’s Tea & Coffee writes, “As part of our ongoing efforts to give back to origin, we encourage our customers to participate in the programs that we support. One such customer Southwest Airlines has already decided to support this worthy cause and introduced a new coffee program last year; a portion of the cost of each pound of coffee purchased by them has been donated to Light the Village.”
Or a club you belong to or the church that you attend: Some churches have a “Levite Tithe,” giving 10% of the tithes they receive as a church to those advancing the cause of Christ. Our project may be a way of involving more people in reaching out to the poor in developing nations.

We have raised $8650 and with donations from LUTW, need $6000 to reach our required budget to send 100 light systems to Guatemala.
